Formed in December 1941, Muscatine Search and Rescue Unit serves the Muscatine Area and beyond with Water and Land Search and Rescue.

MSRU is there to aid and assist communities in and around Muscatine County in areas of Emergency Response when requested,

and to provide support services to any and all boaters using the waterways of the Mississippi River and it’s smaller rivers and streams.
