Muscatine Search & Rescue is dispatched through the MUSCOM joint communications department. We provide rescue services along with resources including water and land based searches/recoveries., swift water and ice rescues as well as assisting law enforcement in evidence recovery. We work closely with area police departments, sheriff’s departments and emergency managers in times of natural disasters as well. As a professional volunteer organization, our members are required to attend regular trainings as well as passing a background check prior to becoming a member.
